Pinstripe Media were excited to work with Galway County Council to create a new brand identity for the refurbished Courthouse in Portumna. Once, a place of justice has now been transformed to a multi-use arts and community space.

Our Approach

The Courthouse Portumna logo features four identical curved shapes arranged in a symmetrical, pinwheel-like formation. Each shape curls inward, creating a sense of motion and unity as they radiate from a shared central point. The design is rendered entirely in a rich dark navy blue, with each form outlined by a fine traditional gold stroke.

This logo emphasises cohesion and clarity through its uniform colour scheme and crisp gold edging. The curved forms retain a stylised, organic feel, evoking growth, flow, and cultural resonance. The symmetrical arrangement continues to suggest balance, continuity, and purposeful movement — a visual metaphor for interconnectedness and shared direction.
